At ILERI Panama we offer our Spanish Immersion program where we use the Natural Approach Method of teaching Spanish. This is the same as the way we learn our native language as children. The student learns to think and express themselves in Spanish.
Our goal at ILERI is immediate communication and therefore the emphasis is on conversation, with grammar as a tool in learning. We teach the student to use language, to live it, to feel it and to use it. Our Spanish Immersion Program helps the student to get more confidence and fluency with the language.
Our student lives a cultural and linguistic experience through our teaching methodology and their interaction with the host families and local people.
Students placed through the methodology ACTFL in which the students give a placement oral and sit and written test.
We work only with SPANISH PROGRAMS to offers our students a total immersion environment in the language. We don't teach other languages.
We work only with small teaching groups and very specific teaching levels. The maximum number of students per class is four, changes can then be made depending on each student`s progress and learning needs, so you will learn Spanish in Panama. We have three levels: beginner (I,II,III), intermediate (I,II,III) and advanced (I,II,III).
In our program, You can start any time year-round, study for as long as you want and with as many hours of instruction per day as you wish. We offer long term courses as well as intensive programs for students with a limited amount of time.
We offer one on one classes. It is possible for our students to have one in classes in the afternoons
or evening. We offer also programs for doctors, teachers, and lawyers. In our business program, you can work and design your own program with diverse Spanish classes and schedules.
We offer Volunteer Program where our students can work with social programs in Panama like Casa Esperanza, Aldeas S.O.S and elementary school Jose Agustin Arango.
ILERI is located in Altos de Betania, el Dorado, Panamá City, It is 20-minute taxi, car or bus ride from the downtown and banking area of the city.
El Dorado area surrounding the school and host families has a large variety of restaurants. The student can find banks and ATMs, 24-hour drugstores, 24-hour supermarkets, bowling, shops, and malls.
The area is perfect for our Spanish Immersion program because the students will learn about the real life and culture in Panama and they will understand more about us.
The school has four classes with air-conditioning classes and two classes outside. Computers with internet and wifi for laptops, iPad, iPhone or Android cell phones.
The school also has a beautiful garden with chairs to enjoy a perfect break with a delicious cup of Panamanian grown coffee. Our goal is to offer comfortable facilities for our students and at the same time maintain a warm, homelike atmosphere. Our school is very relaxed and welcoming for your Spanish immersion a home from home.
ILERI offers activities where the student can practice their SPANISH, we have extra conversation sessions, Panamanian dance lessons, Panamanian cooking classes, cultural activities & Latin American songs, tropical fruit tasting ; historical tour to Casco Viejo, tour to Miraflores Locks and living with the nature at Metropolitan Dried Forest, shopping at Latin American style at Albrook Mall and Spanish movies and popcorn.

Courses start every Monday of the year for all levels.

5 Spanish levels (A1-C1) divided into 2 sub-levels each (with the exception of the beginner level). C2 is also offered in one-to-one lessons.
Ages: minimum age is 16 years old for regular group classes. No limit for individual classes or private groups.
